I played all europeean nations. I like most of them. Is no secret I like german nations a bit too much.
1 thing I never like is some skins/texture of them. If french, papacy, venetians are very well maded, add aragon to that, some look bad. I know people ask new skins for muslims, but I my opinion that are overlooked. Persian, turks, egyptians look well in my opinion. Byzantines have in my opinion, like mongols too best skins in all game.
My problem are scotish, some english and german HRE. HRE for me is an example of bad looking units. The barded cavalry look so bad, I almost dont zoom in. The Rittenbrunders for HRE is a bad mix of feudal barded horse and the teuton knight. Almost all early/high units look like peasents, brown, black, and their clothes look like second hand militia. I thing is not at all real, HRE is an empire, not only that, but they make the games in 1100-1200 in west.
I want to ask if anyone can help me to change the look of HRE units to be like teutons. I not say all. For example, the archers unit, rittenbrunders. Is this posible just asign same skin like teutons? Can be apply same steps to make let say armored spears to look like order spears, or like light man-at-arms to look like sword broders of teutons?

Is no lol thing. After 1200-1300, HRE was only entitled like an empire. If fact, they became less centralised, civil wars was common and never get back. That why we have it Habsburgs and Prussia. Otto made an empire, after that, kaiser after kaiser become only kings of Praga with no army, almost no land, and having tens and hundreds of principles and dukes ready to make him a clown.

Swapping skins for already existing units should be fairly easy.

Otherwise, the Mods Workshop (Skins, Units and Animations) is probably the best place to get help.
