    Default German Berserkers

I'll say this for them. Even after being tweaked from the RTW "frenzied" berserkers they once were, you put them on their homefield (wood) and they'll slaughter near anyone for same cost. It was amusing to watch a full legion annihilated (10 legionary units (cohorts) and ala units (4 cavalry units in support)). Both army shared same cost, no experience rank. I deployed the berserkers in a wood area, dangle the berserker (General) unit to draw the legion toward my ambush

I agree. They still very dreadful even without "heroic". They slaughter nearly anyone stand again them. I like to plus some druid and night raider with them and i have a stack that can cause rout after the first charge

Is it possible to make berserker "frenzied" in the mod ? I install it on BI 1.6 so I think copy the file from BI's berserker may work right ?

You can add the berserker attribute in export_desc_units.txt. IIRC it works with all of the exe's. However, it's massively over-powered. One unit would probably destroy an entire legion.

Heh I remember that attribute. If I wasn't looking at the berserkers themselves, I would had thought it was a bunch of elephants trampling and sent everyone flying out in all directions.

Thanks I'll try it but just for fun. Sending a whole stack to the sky is fun after all. I'll probably return the file back or reduce unit number if i decide to play seriously

I also tried to make gastraphester have 200 men/units for huge scale. However i decide to turn them back to normal and just make their formation more solid to easier to use

I've been wondering for ages why berserkers are light infantry in vanilla...

Do you realize their weapon is only a hug club? That makes them "light infantry"!!!

Nah, don't you mean they use a wooden club 2 fight? I quite look like one. In reality, late roman cavalryman used a 3 metre lance with a long sword, neither "CLUB" nor "MACE"

Actually those late roman cavalrymen ( refering to cataphract, a heavy cavalry troop?) would have a mace alongside their sword and lance. Mace is evil against armored troop as it *smash* through the armor to pulverize the flesh and bone underneath.
