I don't listen a lot of metal but EW is awesome.

Iced Earth and Blind Guardian especially have a large following and Blind Guardian's latests album kicks ass.

Iced Earth headlined one of the biggest metal festivals in the UK.
No you're right they aren't popular.

I mean just go out in the street wherever you live and ask about Iced Earth and Blind Guardian i doubt a lot of people will answer.But you could not say the same for Lady Gaga,Britney Spears,Justin Timberlake or Tokio Hotel.

Nile is a great band btw.

Scream Aim Fire is quite thrashy. Also they're amazing.

Meh. Screaming sounds so much better than the high pitched 80s style singing in some of those earlier posts.
