Super Sexy pre-alpha testers wanted.

Note: At this time, there has been a bit of work done on this super sexy secret project i've been working on. So at the point in time, I'm looking for one or two. Maybe two...Willing volenteers that are willing to do excatly what they are told to lend a hand.

Drop your name here. By dropping your name here and volenteering for this project (which is in no way part of the offical teams work, this is something homegrown and could be going places) You will be sworn to secrecy or a rampart team of monkeys will eat your face.

Instructions will be provided by PM. This is a laregly first come first serve basis but if you do decide to join up this voyage of lulz and adventure. You will be kinda expected to be in it for the long run. However long it takes. I'm not a dedicated modder so updates will take time.

You will need.

A clean Fa:TW install, purely so you dont loose any mucking around you've done on your own install and throw it all away.

A mouse, for clicking

A keyboard, to feedback and type things to me about how awesome I am/am Not

Common sense, incase you need to edit certain things and make things appear when they are not.

I've been mucking around with the files, but I copied all of them into a "safe" folder, so it's easy to go back to the FATW "factory settings".

I'm ... intrigued. Not sure if I can commit, but I can keep a secret. If I'm interested enough when I find out what it is, I may be able to clear out massive elements of my schedule indiscriminately to make time.

I just joined up when I saw this, been lurking here since the old board disappeared and glad to see progress is still going strong.

So, any chance I can jump in for this testing process? Would be great to see what you guys have done. It's going to be pretty easy for me to keep a secret. I don't have any friends who play the mod aside from me and i'm hardly going to spill my mouth anyway. Plus I will be happy to be in this for however long it takes, if it gives me a FATW fix I won't be complaining

1. This little mod has nothing with FATW 3.0 to do, it is not made by the same team and is just a little fan-thing. So you won't be testing any new version, just a few modified files. There will be no playtesting with a dwarf and elf faction. (Seriously, how could you miss the bottom of the starting post, in large bold letters and even bigger red letters underneath)

2. Clean install means the original FATW files, unmodified in any way.

But Nehcrum is right. It's nothing more then a small project that I thought could expand and improve an ascept of gameplay that was well within my talents to create. If your interested in taking part. Feel free but be warned it's working from The New Shadow, nothing else is improved apart from the aspect i'm working on (albeit slowly works getting stupid busy)

Welcome, Revelo. If you have been playing the latest version of FATW, and haven't made any changes to it, then it should work. StealthEvo has a project he's working on (not associated with the mod developers) that sounds pretty interesting.... and secret, I hear.

I was on the old board shortly before it went down, been lurking on here to stay updated. Thank you for the hearty welcome mind

As for there version I've been playing, aside from conquering everything as the RK I've not touched it otherwise, it's a clean install.

Hey, sorry. I was confused by the whole thing anyway. Apologies for not having strong enough glasses I saw the big letters although I thought they were vague, i wasn't clear on if it was just a few files or if we were going to have a little look at things to come in 3.0. Regardless I would still like to help out.
