Some of those can be quite valuable for intra-clan training, Max would probably tell you he would cut off the fingers of anyone who leaked his training videos.

I see.

As for me, my aim is to learn examining replays made by good players (anyway, not necessarily taken from tournaments).

I realize the best way to learn is to try in the battlefield (what i've been doing), but it would be very useful to know certain tactics "before" i begin battle.

if the OP was going to ask Max only or anyone else who doesn't want or must not provide
any of that stuff.

Polidamante - i'd suggest you go to youtube and just type RTW and you'll see a whole bunch of videos
already uploaded there. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of 15k 1vs1 cwb aswell.

I've been watching a lot of videos from youtube but i learn far more watching one replay rather than watching ten youtube videos.

quite right. its important to be able to pause the replay and move around the camera to see everything both players are doing. furthermore not all, but most of the youtube crowd are just casual vidmakers that just saw replays and thought "yeah thats cool, imma do that" mostly to show how awesome the game is and not so much to teach.

I cant give you all my replays but i could probably give you one without getting from the higher up's. most of my stuff is teamgames but there is a bunch of 1v1 vids in there too. Is there any particular matchup you would like to see?

In MP Roman factions are considered to be specialists against phalanx nations. are you sure you dont want to see something more complicated?

Well then everything has been sorted out without too many probs at the end.

To be honest the youtube suggestion was more meant for the case that you won't get ppl posting
replays because of some reasons than that you would get better videos there.

Watching a replay off course will give you more point of views during the observation than a video
made by another persons point of view.

Nice move of yours aswell here Max by offering him what he's asking for.

It was only the first reply in the thread that made it look a little bit
like ppl have to ask you before posting but that reply didn't even come

Suppose that the enemy is Greece, or Carthage. If you take Praet cav and urbs and rush that will be a very short 1v1 lol.

Ill go see if i have an interesting replay somewhere.

I only have 3 1v1s in my entire replays folder and 4 replays that i dont remember on soem media fire thing.

All the replays are vs clans and the 3 1v1s was a Rome vs Rome series we played.

You can have them all if you want but i can't garuantee their good.

This replay is the first test of my Anti counter Brit v carth army. Normally british skirmish armies are countered by carthage by either winning the archerwar with light cav and balearics or simply waiting for the enemy to deplete its ammo on the 6 G def SB + 2 G def poeni. However as this replay shows, theres a counter some counters. This was originally intended to be a 2v2 but seeing as our opponents were lulzworthy we just split up

He joined under a fake name, but with PID i saw it was USSR AWES. What he is doing(wrong) is known as an infantry net. its a long line of infantry chasing away archers so the chariots wont get hit by flaming arrows. supposedly while the archers are running away it should be possible to catch the maidens with the chariots and use your 2 cav to get his archers down. while that's occuring. I was nearly ed cause my maidens didn't respond quickly(Russians use Dial Up) but i managed to save 5 of em. also if you are being chased by chaz consider throwing a unit away to distract em sometimes.

Yes, Katya is still quite strong given her absences.

Rly? she still plays? I tought that both she and Clover from Destroyers quit months ago. I am quite sure we will never see clover again, because the last time i played her she mentioned she and her husband were gonna go adopt some orphans. never saw her again. This is sad because Clover was the only person ever to successfully halt flamewars in the RTW lobby. never seen Katya again since the time i played her and some oldschool hell and went berserk because my camera started strafing right out of its own volition. Think i might have slightly offended the other 3 players in that match that day.

also anyone kno what happened to Destroyers? aint seen the gits for quite a while now.
