You can play Grand Campaign + all the 4 Kingdoms Campaigns, Americas, Levant, Baltic + British Isles.

If you wanted to play Kingdoms Americas with DLV function, then see this thread. I would personally play DLV 6.2 instead, since it's newer and more refined.

    For that, I would need:

    Medieval 2 Total War (Disk 1 + 2)
Update 1.1 or 1.2 (located on the Kingdoms disk)
Update 1.3 (located on the Kingdoms disk)
Kingdoms (1.4), you dont have to install and select any of the mini campaigns inorder to install the update, just run the installation.
    and the Update 1.5 last.

Then after the above installation, DLV 6.0
    and Last: DLV 6.2

Possibly also Taiji's Battle Ballance, but let me know when you get to this point This is the latest update available for DLV.

DLV Europe, DLV Americas, DLV Britannia, DLV Teutonic and DLV 6.2 are diffrent mods with individual folders from eachother. They require the list mentioned above, while the 3 ("Kingdoms") mini-mods also require their own mini campaign. DLV Americas need M2TW Kingdoms to be installed with Update 1.4, etc.)

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

thanks man its a bit clearer now, im about to install dlv 6.0 + 6.2 as i have no interest in playing a small campaign tbh. what i meant by playing amercias was, does the grand campaign include americas? also kingdoms failed to install teutonic and crusades campaign does this matter if i was to install and play dlv 6.2 on grand campaign? thanks again

Sure thng. I remembered when I was in the exact same spot, so don't mention it.

If you have played regular M2TW Grand Campaign, then you will notice the eastern parts of Americas. Now picture abit more, and then you got DLV ("Grand Campaign" /Europe) 6.2. DLV 6.2 does however not include the larger Americas you find in Kingdoms mini campaign of Americas.

And your last question, no, it's optional. You don't have to select and install any of these mini campaigns. You know the Kingdoms installation where you may click/unclick all the 4 mini campaign - Here you must run the installation (as you just did) but you don't have to mark any of the box, it only requires you to run it once and it will then install the 1.4 Update anyway(which is required). If you did don't want/need Kingdoms Americas or the Kingdoms British Isles, then you may uinstall these without any bearing on your DLV 6.2 nor Vanilla Grand Campaign.

And yes, the Americas installation failed for me, no idea why. It doesn't matter anyway, aslong as I run the installation once.
