    Default Recruitable Generals.

I prefer recruitable generals, as it makes the game more enjoyable for me. There were other Nobles besides the royal family that would become dukes etc. My Question is though with the extensive modding that's gone into the units what would the best way to add them be?

Add the bodyguard units back to the recruitment pools in export_descr_buildings.txt. There are tutorials in the Mod Workshop if you need some help.

Thanks, however I'm aware of how to mod them in. Was really wondering where I should put them, for this particular mod. And are the generals units the same as in vanilla? Do they progress over time? Has anyone else done this?

Thanks for the reply and future replies.

Yes it'a common thing and the names are still the same.
    NE_Bodyguard, SE_Bodyguard, EE_Bodyguard etc...

U can place the unit in EDB under the highest tier for stables.

You can also add late version generals eg. "NE Late Bodyguard". You can check every bodyguard unit in export_descr_unit.txt
