    Default Invisible Ghulams icon

    Is very likely I made some kind of silly mistake, but i can't set about it. I've moved Ghulams cavalry from Kingdoms to my mod, but the game can't see ghulams icon and infos icon. I've checked names of icons and icons files, but all is ok.
    Meet someon something like that? How to fix it? (i've already tryed to change the name of this unit and icon names - efectless)

    I don't know is it important, but in recruit queue before ghulams cavalry is empty place.

    No, this is not a problem. This is the way the game shows the units in recruitment queue, once you have many units available in the city. Under those archers, can't be placed a cavalry unit. Instead, the cavalry appears after the archers, on their right, in a different "section", if you get what I mean.

    To me, the game can't find the unit card icon. This is because:
    - you have some wrong entry in edu.txt
    - same but in export_units.txt
    - you have placed the correct unit card in the wrong folder
    - you have placed the correct unit card in the correct folder but with a wrong name.

    Check your spell carefully. Even a single character, as a "_" missing, can cause this.

    May be the game is not recognizing the .tga files for it. Try to create the file again by a different method.

    Open a .tga file that is working fine in game then cut the original image from the gulamowie card(keep in the mind about it's alpha channel as well) and save the .tga file with it's corresponding name. Same drill with info card.
    Remember u have to save it 32 bit type.

    Hm...seems ok. Open the unit card icon and check if it is the correct. Maybe you accidentaly named the rebel peasant icon as "#gulamowie.tga "?

    Also, are you sure you have placed the icon in the correct mod? I tend to have 3-4 versions of my mod installed and rarely I place things in an older version than the one I want to see the results.

    I didn't make this icons. I siply copied it from folders in crusaders mod to my mod folder.
    So i supose it cannot be wrong format of files.

    i'm afrait i didn't make this mistake... I very would like, but i did not...
    I only have one version of my mod in the main game folder. The reserve mod is saved in completly different folder.

    then u are mistaken it's a generic card that we get when the game is unable to find proper card for the unit or it doesn't exist for it.

    I know Ishan.
    But there was a little tiny posibility that he or someone else had taken this photo from peasant rebel of RomeTW (isn't it from there originally?), or someone made it with a screenshot for other purposes, and he accidentally had named it as ghulamowie.

    I know the chances were thin, but I have solved bugs due to respect in even the smallest chance (after all other things have failed).

    ok put your EDU, export_units.txt, BMDB, .tga files into a zip and let me take a look at it.

    BMDB=battle_models.modeldb file

    And plz tell me that are using formatted version for it coz i hate going through the regular mixed up one.

    I'm sorry but i checked everything related to the unit and everything checks out ok.

    The EDU entry is right u are using armenian_cavalry model for it in the BMDB and units cards are also fine.
    Also the export_units.txt have the corrected entries.

    I can't really say what the hell is happening but try to remove the mercenary_unit attrib in the EDU.
    or give it a separate entry in the BMDB with the name Gulamowie rather than rendering armenian_cavalry model entry. Just give the name Gulamowie and put the same entires for armennian_cavalry in it to check it's fixed or not. Though i doubt it coz ur problems are related to unit cards not the unit itself but we have try with some experiments.

    I have no idea how, but i made it
    I've just replaset armenian cavalry by gulamowie and gulamowie by armenian cavalry in EDU. Magic?
