    Default shield wall

    well I know how to add shield wall, I add it to a sergeant spearman to try

    formation 1.0, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 4, square, shield_wall

    the problem is that anytime I do a battle It works fine while I place the troops but anytime I begin the battle it CTD , after trying a little it CTD every battle ,not just the ones when im using the sergeant spearman, I have search but I cant find a post that solve that problem, help!!!

    also how I change the shield wall icon?

    Are u using any new animations or a new animation packs coz shield_wall works perfect and doesn't gives any CTD.

    U can change the icon via battlepage_03.tga file found under the:-
    data\ui\southern_european\interface

    Sounds like your CTD is not related to shield_wall. Like you did something else to cause it. If it happened to me I would start again and test as I go along to find out the cause of that CTD.

    hoooooo yeah the CTD was for another reason I reinstalled the mod and it works fine, now I must change that icons xD

    another question, how to increase charge distance??? because I sent my sergeants against some town militia and they only charge when they were a few steps away from the enemy

    stat_charge_dist in the edu is where you set new charge distances.

    A higher than 6 charge distance for inf means potential for loss of cohesion, increasing with the distance. So we can't have long glorious charges without sacrificing the effectiveness of units for the player and AI. But check it out yourself, different people have different opinions on this.
