Default Ancona Rebel general is gray peasant card

How could I fix that? It's like the only one I've seen in the entire game, help please lol

Early Campaign, RR, LLP, PW (Perm Watchtowers) and the balanced AI are my specs right now

The UI cards by default are stored in :-
    Medieval II Total War\mods\SS..\data\ui\units
And they are arranged in folder wise with faction names. So find the card it's a rebel so the folder is "slave"

    Good Luck !

Ishan - checked thru the UI slave units and only bodyguard unit I could find was EE Bodyguard, which obviosly is no place for one in Italy. I noticed there were no other bodyguard units. I'll send a screen shot later. (It's not a family member as well, that might be why?)

I get it what u mean now it's a Roman soldier guy with a knife. Actually it's a default UI card when there is no card is present or assigned for it. If it's general then simply copy the EE_bodyguard card and make copies of it and name it like NE_bodyguard, ME_bodyguard, SE_bodyguard. That outta fix it.

Really? That seems real simple, almost too simple lol I checked the unit info as well for slaves and there is NE and EE in there, but no ME or SE... I'm so up poop creek without a paddle right now haha

EDIT: Oh wait, maybe I can copy the NE bodyguard from the slave unit and put it into the slave unit_info folder?

EDIT 2: Looked at Papal States unit descr and said they have SE bodyguard as gen so gotta add that I guess. Will do it and tell you inna few or so

Tried adding that and renaming the copied one and all it did was make SS not able to open

EDIT: took them out, the SE generals and it works fine now (PHEW)

It should not give u a crash.
Ok can u tell me the bodyguard unit for the rebel general?
And a screenshot wouldn't hurt either.
