    Default About Steppe Portraits

I know I'm not a member of DotS team but I want to support to you with something I have.

Here's a portrait pack for steppe factions like Kypchaks, Mongols etc.

You can use these portraits in DotS, if you see this favourable...

Also I have opened a thread in Released Mods section, but I want to open a thread here, so you can see my work.

Thank you, but we are trying to go with authentic medieval art only. I know there are very few Steppe portraits from history we can use, but this is what we are going for.

We are a little short on medieval authenitc art especially for Islamic and steppe factions.

This is our thread for collecting them: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=343099

If you guys can Persian miniatures in high enough resolution we may be able to crop a few portraits out of them for example:

And this Al-Wasiti miniature could be the source of several portraits if we had a larger resolution image:

It was painted in the first half of the 13th Century. I'm not sure who it is supposed to depict but they are obviously Turkic. The center guy is supposed to be a governor - maybe under the Kwarezm Shaw, one of the Atabeg successor states or the Seljuks of Rum.
