    Default Real Recruitment in SS 6.3

    Sorry guys, I'm sure this is posted somewhere, but I can't find it. What's the deal with the Real Recruitment option in 6.3? in the script setup screen it says its 'BROKEN'?

    So if I want to play with RR turned on, should I select this option in the setup or no? And what does it mean that reference that RR is broken?!

    Disabling RR is broken. Don't enable that option.
    RR is on by default.

    So if I select to disable RR would it mess my game up? Wonder if that is why I am having problems. I am trying to use a submod to get guns and cannons in year 1 but it isn't working...although I selected disable RR.

    Disabling RR will make several units never appear.
    To do what you're talking about, though, you have to add a few lines to the Disable RR file. Go take a look at the thread.

    I think he is referring to his Compendium if I am not mistaken.

    Oh right, thanks, but about RR being broken, you said certain items are never recruitable...meaning? They never appear in your recruitment list or they are never available in your recruitment list? I currently see Bombard as a unit to train but I can't select it despite never having created one...is that the bug you mean? It stays greyed out?

    No, they'll never appear at all. If I remember correctly, some knights are among the units who'll never show up if one disables RR.
    I think he is referring to his Compendium if I am not mistaken.

    Hmm, so I guess it is just greyed out because RR is preventing me from creating a bombard on turn 5? The guy who made that mod was able to get around certain units being made on turn 1, like advanced plate units, I'm just not sure how to tell RR that cannons/gunpowder units are OK from turn 1....
