This is just pure awesomeness! If you really gonna make this for all factions... that would be amazing!

Sure Kahvipannu, I will try it ingame. Don't doubt that! Congratulations mate for your great work.
One question, what about the different development level of walls. Are you planning texturizing them too?

I'm soryy, but I'm not aware what SOC stands for.. I believe it's savegame compatible (haven't tested), and these textures will be on campaign too, not just custombattles.

Edit: Storm of Chaos, ofcourse Yes it is, like HP sayed, but I need confirmation from someone.

I usually look at pictures, and grab parts from them, and usually combine them, and edit, same thing what I do with UI's. Most of Orc textures have been taken from various WH-art and edited.

Yes, Indedd and some other pic there too (presummably you took it from WH:Onlines homepage ). And I used parts of this pic too for HE interface. Too bad it doesn't go ingame the way it looks in the pic, there's just too much randomnes how game places textures in-game..So I have been have to "split it into pieces"..

Can't say. It's pretty much trial and error. Jumping from photoshop to ingame to look what part I modified, and back..

You need to convert them to .DDS files, conventer can be found in "Skins, Models, and Animations"thread, I believe it's stickied. Then you need DDS-plug-in for Photoshop (Google), so you can edit them. After editing convert back to .TEXTURE, and try ingame. Convert back for editing if necessary, etc.. When it's ready, do normal-mapp of the .DDS file http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=345554, add shadows to original, and voila, done. Basically no need for 3D-programs, just Photoshop with right tools and add-ons.

PM me if you need more details
