No exchange of Technology

Anybody know which file needs to be modified in order to stop technology exchange?

It's handled in the scripting.lua.

But if you're running Imperial Splendour, then it's already done for you.

Which what editor i could open and edit the scripting.lua file?

I would like to change some technology research time....

All luas can be opened with notepad.

But for reserach time i think you need the db editor.

Yes i know that,

i could open even with Pack File Manager - i use it for making changes.

It is easier to use for me than DB Editor 1.8.

If you know which line or table i should change i will appreciate your help.

I opened one of the .lua files with notepad...thousand of thousand of lines and i don't understand anything....

Better is the data in the tables, like patch.pack file is organized.

This must be the way to edit the technology research time - because i saw a mod that do that, but in general....
