I uninstalled want ti reinstall but it wont let me

Ok so i uninstalled rtw from my computer...then when i try to reinstall it says its already installed but on my computer they can find no traces of rtw on my laptop..so?

I really wanna play darthmod..

Did you delte the Rome folder in Program files or Program Files (x86)?
If Vista or Win7, did you unhide all files and folders in Folder Options and delete the Rome in roamig or virual store?
After that, did you run a registry cleaner?

i deleted from roaming and program files...but i didnt do registry cleanerr

If you don't ever want to play RTW again then uninstall is the way to go.

If you want to install a different mod then the thing to do is to leave the default install alone and simply take a copy of the folder and create a new folder with a copy of the RTW install. All you do is then apply the mod to the copy.

The only limit to the number of RTW copies you have on your machine is disk space.

It's possible to install several mod foldered mods into the same folder. However, I find it easier to have a folder for each mod - that way there is no way that one mod caninterfere with another mod.

Well, if you did follow what I had suggested then you would have no reason to uninstall the game in the first place. Unless your RTW install magically got corrupted.

Which bit of that don't you understand?

I did not contradict what irishron had posted - clearly you need a registry cleaner to get rid of the traces of RTW.

Registry cleaner should get rid of the rest.
Restart your computer before trying, again, just in case something is left in ram.
