Default CTD Script Error does not match up to the ownership for faction

So. Hi again. If you actually read these forums you know this is just another one of my too frequent visits in my path to enlightenment. So recently I added a faction named rome. Everything seemed well until during loading I got kicked back to the desktop and found these errors littering my system log.

    10:09:12.603 [script.err] [error] Script Error in mods/SS6.3b/data/export_descr_buildings.txt, at line 1119, column 127
unit(Mounted Acritae) does not match up to the ownership for faction(rome)

There is one for every unit I gave to the faction rome. I double checked all my work, but I found no error. Would anybody happen to know what is causing this error?

If it matters I'm running SS 6.3, but I do not think that is related to the error.

You have to give ownership for the unit to rome in the EDU or you will get that message.

    @Omega
LOL why didn't u tell me that name of the new faction was "rome" I thought this error must a leftover part from RTW when we skip a file when trying to add a new faction.

But anyways u got ur answer by Sir Ron.
If u add it in the EDB like for Peasant Archers then make sure in the EDU it's like this:-
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Code:
    ownership england, scotland, france, rome

Thank you very much guys! I forgot I posted this in here,

alright, Well in the file I found this (I dont remember editing this file :x)

    Code:
ownership sicily, hungary, byzantium, rome, slave
    era 0 sicily, hungary, byzantium
    era 1 sicily, hungary, byzantium
    era 2 sicily, hungary, byzantium
Now, would I have to add rome to the list with eras as well?

got it. i added it to everyone there. just another error on the way to success i suppose.
sadly, im getting the video memory crash, so i did something wrong with a texture file somewhere. wish there was an easier way to debug for a noob though

Chheck the BMDB for the unit.

Is that a necessary file, if you don't plan on fighting battles (for now)? According to Gigantus' tutorial, it isn't (I think).

I just did a search in the ss folder for every instance of byz (for both byzantine or byzantium). I need to do a lot more copying and pasting then I thought

/facepalm This is so much more work then I wanted

And when I'm done, I need to edit them all to make them look more roman anyway... /doublefacepalm

I think I should change this thread title to, Omega's fail attempts at making a new faction and ctd's

Oh well. I'll continue working and let you know when I fail again

You're doing good. Sometimes the learning curve has us all trying to hang on with our fingernails.

And it is not a fail when the outcome is positive.
