Has upkeep changed in 6.3?? I'm not using BGYR and I swear I'm losing too much money every round as if free up-keep doesn't exist. Has there been any changes regarding the finances of 6.3? I skimmed over the FAQ's and didn't notice anything.

General leading armies on the march also consume money. A full stack Byzantine Professional army cost around 300 florins per turn for marching.I am using Savage AI, M/M difficulty.
Yes, recruit mercs and fight the battle, and let them die, do any suicide missions with them and then just disband the depleted units right after the battle. A Turkoman cavalry will steal 385 florins from your treasury per turn.
There's no charge for marching unless you're using BGR.
I am not using BGR. But march expenditure does exist!! I open up the finance Scroll, and check the profit, and I select my near full-stack force, which contains T2 or T3 units into a wooden castle, where no units will consume upkeep thus disrupting my experiment. When I garrisoned them in that wooden castle, the profit raise a little from 100 to 400 florins. What is this? It shouldn't happen as I am not using BGR, a bug?Now I see it does not concern with general leading or not. A considerable amount of units will always consume money. Frankly to say, I haven't do any detailed research but sure about the marching expenditure.
You sure none of those units is getting free upkeep in the castle either? Or the general...? Any agents stuck in your army etc? Because if you had supplies submod running it would probably be more than 300 difference.
