Many thanks - some useful stuff there +Rep!

You will find maps for Marengo at items 28 & 29 in "Alison's Atlas of the Wars in Europe 1792-1815" The whole volume can be downloaded from this site: http://archive.org/details/atlastoalisonshi00alis

    Also see:

Will have to see if I can find decent maps of Maida & Tolentino; it maybe more difficult to find Civita Castellana 1798. Any I do find I will attach to this post & send you a PM.

Edit: Map for Maida from a board game at http://boardgamegeek.com/image/12612...806?size=large

EDIT (7/10/12): Contoured map for Maida attached (sorry quality is not perfect).

EDIT (8/10/12): For Tolentino 1815 see exchange on Napoleon Series Forum http://www.napoleon-series.org/cgi-b...=read;id=89793. May be worth an approach to the writer.

A very good question - some may still be in my back pocket . Will feed them in as and when (though some may now no longer be available for a variety of reasons).

Drawings by Robert Aubry depicting the uniforms from 1804 to 1915. The 1804 uniforms are for “La Gendarmerie Impériale en Belgique”, also depicted are the Belgian units of the 1815 Dutch-Belgian Army http://1579.be/aubry/aubry.html

    Useful resource

Just opened this week - a multimedia approach (books, drawings, photos, ...): www.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de
The architecture of the DDB is somewhat different from Gallica, for example. The DDB is like a "roof" over 30.000 institutions which provide the digital objects. A typical German federal initiative with the usual pros and cons: It took over six years to start, the access to the data goes over two steps, but lots of useful stuff...
