    Default Inconsistent Unit Tech tree

    With some faction tech trees, like Norway's, a castle final barracks will train all units it originally could. but for some, such as crusader states and lithuania some units are missing in higher barracks levels. this doesn't seem logical to me and would be a pain in the arse to shift through EDB file and sort it out.

    Crusader states get "reinforcements" as in new unit options some turns into the campaign which might adress your issue.
    Lithunians have specialists units from their "churches" for example so I'm not sure a 1to1 comparison is fair.

    Do you have RR on? Or did you disable it? If you disabled it, it is bugged.

    Is there a way to fix it manually without RR enabled?

    I think the No Waiting submod does that. But if it doesn't (Which I really do think it does) then it would require tons of work for you to do it manually.

    That's what the no waiting mod was made for, I have yet to try it out because I have been doing homework instead but I think I'm gonna fire up a new game and check it out!

    If its turned on, then your supposed to lose old units as you advance in time. Eventually, feudal knights will be easy to recruit, and then one day will disappear.

    There are actually a lot of good mods for 6.3 like the Heir crown (I like it anyways) you should check out that section before you start a game as some of them are not save compatable.

    yes i did have RR on, and the tech tree was inconsistent. there was one javelin unit (Which i forgot) which was recruitable from all barracks up until the last one whilst every other unit remained.

    ill check this no waiting mod

    Also if I read your question right, the higher the building you have, you lose the ability to create lower level units in that city/castle. Why would you train peasents when you cant train knights...makes sense?

    well i use peasants for cheap garrison. anyways i enabled RR and i'm not too bothered about it anymore

    I just checked the Crusader States units, and they are one of the few factions that keep all their castle units, throughout all eras and all barracks levels. Something is wrong with your game.

    Lithuania keeps all it's units except for peasants, which is strange because most other factions keep them until later eras

    What units are you missing?

    You generally don't lose units until you get to a new era in vanilla SS.
    i was using disabled RR and as someone mentioned above, it's bugged. i've switch to RR now so no worries.

    What and where is the No Waiting Mod? I don't see it in the mods or downloads and search doesn't turn anything up.

    Oh, silly me, it must be that FFT or whatever mod for SS6.3
