[SS6.0 AAR] The mighty Ottoman Empire - Would you like to see it?

Hello everyone!
Long time ago I just took a few pictures about my "Ottoman Empire". They were quite popular and many loved them. I believe it was interesting to follow the first steps of emerging nation.
The pictures were originaly posted in screenshot forum and I never thought that I would make an AAR of them someday (*I didn't even know what they were. ) But anyways, I thought I could continue playing it after a long brake. So, dear readers and fans, would you like to see it too? I could make an AAR of it. If there is at least one person who would like to see it, I'll do it!

Also, if I would make an AAR, would you like it to have
a) more text and story
b) more text but no need for a real story
c) or just like it was before

Its a pity that my friend, egyptian empire is loosing the war against Jerusalem...
Ps. Poland is destroyed. I think that danish people have took their land. Damn bastards...


So I am allied with Egypt, venice, hungary and hmmm... ()... well that huge kingdom in the east

Ottomanian Empire part II

Islamic power holds Jerusalem.



I started the war against Jerusalem. So, I took those cities in north.



I took some of my armies from Italy and sent them to Middle East.




Now my armies conquered Damascus!



Here is merchant who is making some money. This is even better than the guy in Venice!


In this picture you can see the Holy Roman Empire. Pretty powerful, eh?
Btw, France is the vassal of Germany. What a losers!
PS. I paid 10000 florins for map information!





Here you can see my empire in Middle East. Seems like I will win the war against Jerusalem.
I conquered their city, Al Aqaba. There I killed their King and after that I burned their city.
Guess what, when I exterminate the city, my relations with Kwarezmian Empire improved.



Oh btw, Sicily is my vassal.
And Kiev declared war against me! (Maybe I should conquer and then burn ther lands! )

Its nice. I considered once an Ottoman Empire AAR but I wasn't convinced of if the people would like it. If I were you, I would add characters, some history and a historic context. You can take a look at AARs like "An Eastern Jewel in a Western World" from La coupe est pleine or desley's Mare Nostrum to see what I mean. You can also take a look at mines if you want, it is also of that style of AARs.

I agree with Draco, more story and text would make it better. Pictures are nice, but if that's all, then we may as well be playing the game ourselves. Still, I'm interested in seeing how this goes.

Nice one! Did you manage to take Italy without getting a crusade called on you? When playing factions like the Turks, I actually prefer to do the opposite of what they did in real life, i.e. instead of going west and south and forming the Ottoman Empire I go north and east and conquer Kwarezm and the Cumans. Then my Ottoman infantry have immense battles against the Mongols!

uhh, it's way too long ago so I can't remember. If I wrote about it, then it may have happened. If I haven't mentioned it:
a) It never happened
b) I have forgot to mention it
c) I haven't wanted to mention it

Hehe, but it really isn't Ottomans fault. Why the Byzantines chose to set up their kingdom so close to the Ottomans Empire? lol
