Oh, that may have been a typo. I probably meant 'two-headed'... Sorry. Anyway, it looks good, though if you could give each axe another blade, it would be even better.

Actually I kinda like the one bladed axes for some units. As long as some of em use the doubled bladed kind.

Eh.. on the first 2 the faces could use a little work. Thier still very good but I think you should make the faces less blurry. Also if you wanna go for fierce warrior type, make the war paint a bit more fierce. You know maybe something like red streaks across his face, or something similar to what Mel Gibson had in Braveheart.

Oh and since they were famous for thier dyed hair, maybe you should give em long "barbaric" dyed hair. Also since they were famous for taking of heads, maybe have a severed head tied at his waist head hurler style, or a severed head suspended around the horses neck (for the cav units) like what the celts did. Y'know make these guys just scream "Dont **** with us."

Also whats the story behind this "Elite" Mustagi? He doesnt look that elite too me, just a peltast..

Lets see some Dorians and Athenians now!

I would suggest not placing such intricate designs on the center of the "skirt" part of the tunic. Since the model is a CA vanilla base model it is going to experience polygon stretching in that area distorting the designs. You may already know this since you didn't pose them. But if you haven't I would check to see if the distortion is acceptable to you or not.

Yes, like i said in the post these units are not mine, they are by zedar and ultimate evil and i doubt they will be redone by them and i am far to busy to redo other peoples work.

Also nice on Pylos, I'm glad you included the Dendra armour. Odysseus is said to have historically worn this armour..

Lots of people are said to have worn it... We can't be certain though. Anyway, I'm not drunk anymore (I got wasted last night - it was the St John's College Classics dinner; free champagne, wine, port... all night long... then off to the pub...), but I do have a hell of a hangover. Actually, they look ok to be honest. I love the Thessalian.

I don't know. I'll probably want to keep it in for a personal reason more than anything else now because i've had to work on it again and again from the beginning to get it exactly the way it is now (because of other people's opinions). Perhaps once the current crisis is over i will make a more historical version of achillies or the myrmidons and release them as an optional replacement because i know your not alone in your view.

BTW Darth Vader has offered to help as has Lord Hazard. Hopefully their efforts combined will make sort work of what we have left. But everybody must keep in mind that the guy who left took quite a bit with him.
