War council not making any difference?...
Hey guys a quick question about the BGR mod -
Ive got my king and two war council members, and the professional training staff crew, But despite it saying that it grants them the rights to recruit certain chappies that other generals cant - there seems to be no difference whatsoever in the recruitment capability of my war council and any 16 year old governer. I can even recruit without a general in my castle ;/
Ive only started recently so im mostly wondering if im missing something, or if its just that my highest level recruitable unit are low enough to be recruited by anyone - and as the higher ones become available they will not be recruitable by anyone other than the war council members.
any ideas? thanks a lot

What is your right to knight? If it is universal, then I don't think it makes a difference. Yet.
But I don't play BGR, so going to the subforum for that would most likely be a better idea then posting here.

Historydude is right. If you're in Universal Right To Knight, then anyone can recruit, but as you go down into Restricted Right to Knight, and Centralised Recruitment, only the W/C, and eventually only the heir/leader can recruit.
You can pass professional training staff off to other non w/c generals to recruit professional units in your stead (such as when a WCer is out on the field at war), but remember it's of little use to a Non-WC general in a castle. Still not worked out the benefit of giving PTS to non-WC generals in towns; maybe it's for later on, gunpowder units and siege equipment etc?
