New Dimmu Borir sinle is out

Well since i excpected the new song with Shagrath singing clean this song is not a disapoitment for me I think it's better then any song In Sorte Diaboli .He Female vocal is strange and orgiginal i must say but still i think they shoudn't put it, it somehow spoils the fun.

As abbath said my "g" key wasn't(isn't) working properly.

Well listening to the song and I'm very disappointed.
Now first of all, I'm a huge Simen Hestnæs fan. He made Dimmu Borgir interesting.
His vocals made a boring song sound interesting so when he got kicked along with Mustis(a good keyboard player) well it was worrying.
And well it's just confirmed here.
Nothing in this song is interesting, we have heard it before.
Only thing new is a silly robot voice that made me laugh which I'm pretty sure wasn't the point and a awful female singer, no doubt trying to fill in Hestnæs shoes only to make it more obvious of what the band is missing. She doesn't have his range or emotions.

To boil it down, it's the same crap without the magic that made the previous songs listenable, leaving us with a boring song that we have heard before and completely void of any creative spark.

Yeah 2 albums, Stormblåst and Enthroned, För all tid wasn't that good.
But those albums was the more classical black metal style.
But the newer albums, well ever since Puritanical has been going for a more extreme sort of blackmetal, a bit more progressive. Problem is, Shagrath, silenoz and Galder aren't very good at that sort of music.
You can hear on the new old mans child album that Galder has put aside the whole extreme style in favor of the more classic style and it works so much better. He made an album that is better then anything Dimmu Borgir has done since Spiritual.
Kinda like Cradle of Filth, they went back to what they know with Godspeed and it was a great album in comparisson to the two crappy albums before.

Nothing wrong with trying out new things but when it doesn't work, you kinda have to either go back or go somewhere else.
Dimmu Borgir has been going with this sound for 3 albums now and from the sound of the single, 4 albums and each album just gets worse and worse and now they don't even have Hestnæs to save them.

But anyway, I didn't really like the song, though I've never really been a Dimmu Borgir fan anyway.

It seems to be a massive improvement on In Sorte Diaboli, I think Abrahadabra is going to be better than this years Cradle of Filth release, although I liked their teaser song Lilith Immaculate as well.
