Musical taste is subjective, and pop music is purposely watered down for that reason (so that it can appeal to more people). That being said even pop music has varying levels of quality and having Black Eyed Peas top this list is a shocker to me personally.

Though I don't really mind popular music as when it is played I am generally in an appropriate social setting (not going to their concerts, and definitely not listening to their music on my own). I'd prefer Lady Gaga/M.I.A (who isn't on the list) and a few others to a lot of what I have heard at clubs over the years so I can't say I understand the unmitigated hate either.

She has some good stuff and old school vibes (Bucky Done Gun) and she's also worked with Swizz Beatz who released a sick remix of M.I.A's track "Boyz".

Man how can Bad Romance be that low, that's like the number one song of all time of all time.

Those are all just awful songs.

The only thing I like on that list is... none of them actually.

It's always been like that.
Some of my architecture professors love to repeat "You are oblidged to educate the masses with good taste, as on their own they have none".

I've got Viva La Vida, Apologize, and I'm yours. Also the ORIGINAL "You Spin Me Right Round" and the ORIGINAL "Harder Better Faster Stronger"
