Can't reïnstall Rome!!!

First bought the game a few months after it came out. I loved it a very lot, but over the years has been replaced by M2TW. Last time I really played Rome was in 2007, a month before my computer (Windows XP) crashed. I didn't really look back to the game, left it for what it was, and in 2008/2009 tried M2TW. That worked fine, but some memories of RTW convinced me to reïnstall the game. So I tried... but what I get is an error telling me there are some problems with demo shield, which is strange because M2TW never had any problems with the Demoshield.


It COULD be that on one of the userprofiles of the PC, there might be some demo left, but I am terribly sure there is none on my userprofile. Could this be the mistake? Or is it something completely different?
