    Icon4 242 BC Crash

    Hey,



    In my Pahlava campaign I cannot get past 242 BC, when I try to end turn it crashes on either Makedonia or Ptolemaic's turn. I did the things in the FAQ section and the results were:
    • Used toggle_fow and found 2 rebellious settlements - Bratosporios (Sweboz) and Alexandreia-Eschate (Saka) and removed 8000 population from each...still crashed.
    • Cancelled all queued construction/recruitment...still crashed.
    • Used generic script to take control of Makedonia and Ptolemaic Empire, found no duplicates, moved/disbanded armies and deleted buildings...still crashed.
    • I always keep 2 alternating save files so I loaded up my other save from around 5 turns back and played from there...at the exact same point the game crashed again.
    I have absoloutly no idea what the heck is causing this crash, I posted in another thread for help then realised it wasn't in the Bug Report section , so I'm reposting here in the hope someone can help me with this since I really don't want to give up my Pahlava campaign ...I worked hard on it.

    I've attached my 2 save game files, both are saved before ending the turn at 242 BC. (EB 1.2 on RTW 1.5)

    I'll check your save-game as soon as the weekend approaches! Please post until then if you are using mini-mods and what exe you are running on.

    I'm running EB 1.2 on RTW 1.5.exe, I have BI installed but I'm not using it for EB. The only mini-mod I'm using is the Force Diplomacy mod.

    It was a bit tricky but it now should work. The reason for the crash should have been some irregular building queues from the Ptolemaio (you can consider this faction as broken now, they will probably build false government structures and therefore won't be able to have elite troops). If it crashes again, you can follow this workaround:
    Use FD to get access to all their settlements, destroy the gov-buildings and gift them back via FD.

    Awesome, thanks a lot! Shame about the no elite units...but my horse archers would have chewed 'em up anyway

    It is not said that they can't develop from now on, but they are very, very handicapped. Maybe you can bolster their economy via script if they get too weak or spawn yourself some elites
