"Faild to initiate 3d audio??? help plz

Hi all i love this mod and i have installed this mod on my laptop and when i press to play appear a warning window saying Faild to initiate 3d audio

calm down, chap... don't pay attention to hopit (he's from Finland

)

If you can start your vanilla rome total war without problem, just do as follows:
1- Go to .../Rome - Total War/preferences
2- Copy preferences.txt
3- Go to .../Rome - Total War/RomeMedievalMOD/preferences
4- Paste (and replace) preferences.txt

Tell us if that worked. Cheers

Nup, i have copy the preferences.txt and and nothing!!!
I have tried a lot of things and no progress, i can't start The game
