I lost interest in them when I realised how much of a prick the singer is and how repetetive and monotonous the songs are.
Maybe.. but you cant deny the fact that rarely in modern times you would hear songs of a stature like Daddy's Gone for example, speaking of the same arguments without sounding cheesy exactly as majority of bands out there
These guys sound more repetetive than anything i have heard in a while. And IMO there is plenty of stuff out there that hits just as hard if not more so than " Daddy's Gone ". And I mean modern stuff.
Have to agree with Eire on this, once you get over the initial 'new band' thing they're very repetitive sound wise. Plus the more i read about the lead singer the more i disliked him.
"You have a decent ear for notes
but you can't yet appreciate harmony."
What you call as repetitive is just their will of giving an idea about their soul.. their personal spiritual imprint. I dont see anything bad on this. Take Oasis for example.. they're plenty of repetitive songs as well

You did well posting your opinion anyway![]()
Surprised i've never heard of them before. Usually i hate Scottish bands, especially monstrosities such as mogwai and Paolo Nutini and i'm getting bored of Franz Ferdinand, but occasionally we produce something to actually look up to, like Jethro Tull and now Glasvegas.
I don't see what the personality of the band members has to do with you liking the music, but what exactly is wrong with him? And Scotland is a monotonous place, i really think it captures the feeling of living here tbh, but i mean that in a good way.
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.
A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."
