This is Total War !!!
i've a warhammer book called "empire in flame" (1989) but i don't know if it can help you...
tnx, but i am looking only WFB books
Also if anyone want look 3d edition here - http://rghost.ru/2427585
WFB Army Books for 5ed are the same for the 4th ed as I remember. WFB 1-3 had only one main rule book. But do you think that going back so far is a good idea? The biggest changes were during 5th ed and so forth. So you should just stick to 5th, 6th and 7th ed. It's like more than 40 books and additional campaigns found in various books and WD.
Oh and there are also few fan made army books for Kislev, Chaos Dwarfs and Cathay.
Actually, quite a bit of the lore from pre-7th is really interesting.
For instance, the 4th (or is it 5th?) edition Dogs of War book, which should probably be re-titled "Tilea" armybook, as it's all about the Tilean city-states.
Or what about the Halflings, Ogres & Dwarfs that could be put into an Empire list? It isn't detailed in 7th (or even 6th, IIRC), but before that the armybooks made it clear that Ostland and the Ostermark quite commonly had Ogres in their armies, and Talabecland (I think. Not sure about this one) used Halflings from the Moot, and Reikland very much had expatriate Dwarfs that formed a good chunk of their militia.
Or the Empire War Wagon? I think GW pretty much replaced it with the Steamtank as far as the miniatures line goes, but in 5th edition there definitely was one. Actually, the Kislev war wagon that has been shown in the previews on this forum remind me quite a bit of it.
I guess I've never looked as early as 3rd edition, but the lore from 4th & 5th is beautiful indeed, and I applaud this mod for paying attention to the early stuff.
Now all we need is a 5th Chaos faction: Malal. yeah yeah yeah
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to live.
Yes i think it is good idea, i didnt find anything interesting in 1 or 2 ed, but in 3 ed i found many good ideas, like nuln pike merc, tilean and estalian units(i never saw them any else) etc
so i wanna look 4 ed
Which of those do you need:

http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Army_Books_5th_Edition
Have you got this one?
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/File:...es_3_Cover.jpg
these
- Warhammer Armies: Dwarfs (4th Edition)
- Warhammer Armies: The Empire (4th Edition)
- Warhammer Battle Bestiary 4th Edition
- Warhammer Armies 4th Edition - provisional Armylists
- Warhammer Armies: Orcs and Goblins (4th Edition)
- Warhammer Armies: Chaos (4th Edition) - from the similar named Box
yes
I've got:
- Dwarfs, The Empire, Orcs and Goblins in pdf so I can send them to you. I'' upload them on filefront and send you the link via PM. I've had Chaos but I've sold it just a couple of weeks ago. The provisional Armylist is probably sth like the Ravenging Hordes for the 6th ed so you don't really need them (I guess).
sorry mate , another torrent from demonoid.com is the only one I can find
There is a torrent with 4th Edition Kislev - The Claws of the Great Bear from Citadel Journal 14, 15 & 16 (1996) , but I don't think you need it
