Prins of Persia - Sands of Time (very nice movie)

"Sands of Time"

I have seen this movie yesterday and it was just great, what I expected from it a bit of story and good action, + some humor-funny/cool characters. You will notice its from the makers of Pirates of the Caribbean it has the same niche. Anyone else seen it to of late, what did you found of it?

In my opinon it might be better they made a movie of the first game and not the last game.

It is ok...

I gave it a six out of ten.

I probably give it 5.5/10, that is just a hardcore PoP game fan's view...

Ben Kingsley is always good, Gemma Arterton is always hot....

...but the movie was meh, i'd give it a 5/10.

Ben Kingsley is always good? He does some good movies and makes some really bad ones to cash in, like The last legion and thunderbirds, and now this POP movie.

Those aren't mutually exclusive. Ben Kingsley is often the best thing in a bad movie.

However, Prince of Persia was not a bad movie. It is a solid film; around 6/10. One of the better videogame adaptations, and it should pave the way for future adaptations waiting in the wings, like God of War, Gears, and Mass Effect.

That's not much, is it? being the best thing in a terrible movie. And I found his Merlin and the thunderbirds villain unimpressive. I just found out he was also on bloodrayne

Mortal Kombat is the best videogame movie. I doubt future videogame movies will be exceptional in any way, the only one that had a good chance of being great was the Halo movie but it didn't pan out.

You can say all you want, but this is the best film based on a video game ever! I know, that doesn't mean much as all the other where crap. I would say it's 3/5 stars.

2 out of 10. Just special effects. You need giving a day off to your brain before watching this movie

I liked the Sands of Time, but I don't want to see the movie because it looks like a very typical action/comedy which I don't enjoy at all (Save for the first two Pirates of the Carribean movies) not to mention that, from what I've seen in the trailers, the Sand creatures from TSoT are completely absent.

Swedish, I believe.
