Mapper needed for RTW!

Ancient World: Total War is a mod for RTW 1.5 in the time period of 1100-900BC.

Much of the research, developement, and arrangements have been worked on but we need a mapper.

MAPPER NEEDED

-Required abilities needed to become our mapper:
-Make nice provinces/territories.
-Make cities.
-Add details such as climate aspects and realistic landscapes on the campaign map.

for editing the map, you only need either gimp or photoshop
looks like all mapper over there are busy

I know, and I do have gimp, as does King, but neither of us can edit the necessary files without CTD.

Patience and perserverence my friend, learning to do a proper mapping indeed take a long time of learning efforts, if you have gimp, you better start looking for some details in this nice guide:

I have been through that. I have tried the TiME editor, every other tool I can find, and I have done the modification manually, I just get a CTD every time.

Don't forget that fault is a must in a sucessful learning process, just don't give it up too early...

I don't consider it "giving up too early" if you have been trying for the past 2 months to get it to work.

are you sure you re-inspect the txt files needed for map codings, and made there is no error in map change codes? try to do it once again from a working map then... it seems you must have done some untraceable errors...

I have followed every guide I have found to the letter (I even did the example in each one), butI always got a CTD and no error message. Unfortunately, I don't have GIMP anymore, and I will have to re-download it. (However, I can't even change the ownership of a region without CTD, so it may be the installation or something).
