Bad news about Lesbians

I'm working on integrating CC's map into ours right now and, as you can imagine, I've had to do lots of shifting around to get our regions in. CC's map is much larger and has more accurate physical features, too, so boundaries have had to move and certain areas have need a region re-allocation (e.g., the Alps are now too big for the AI to handle it as two regions, so I added a third and removed one from Illyria, which is losing full faction status and thus doesn't need to be outlined quite so finely). Sadly, this means we simply won't have room for a full region for the Isle of Lesbos.

That's right. The ExRM will no longer have Lesbians. I apologize to each and every one of you. From what I've heard, Lesbians have always been near and dear to the hearts of many of the players of this mod, and I hope you can forgive me for removing them.

P.S. It's getting replaced with Sophene, because those kingdoms up there are cool and Anatolia has too many regions already.

Is this new map going to have the "terra incognita" province? and if yes, which regions would it be include?

Lesbian provine was Mitylene, right?

Don't joke about it though, it's a serious issue I've heard. Apparently there was a court case started by the people of Lesbos demanding that Lesbians shouldn't call themselves Lesbians anymore, because it gives the original Lesbians a bad name...

Mytilene was an important city, wasn't it? And I don't know how this would affect in the game. In my current campaign, the first one I play in this mod, Macedon was destroyed by the greek cities, so I worried that this change would make this effect occurs even more frequently

Mitylene starts under control of either the Greeks or the Ptolemaics if I recall. If it's the Ptoly's then it's not really likely to effect the GC vs Macedon situation directly, but if it's with the GC at the start then it should help Macedon slightly.

I had fun with this thread.

I've nearly got the map working. Just a couple of scrollover bugs in the area of Prussia and the Ukraine left. Spent several hours on it and made very little headway, so I think I may call it a day.

Good job. The map looks awesome from the screenshots by (whoever it was again?) so I'm expecting a lot of it.

If the map is larger, will walking distances also be further correspondingly? To keep with a realistic distance marched in a season, I mean.

That's CC's map, Juan. And it's definitely an excellent map, although ours will look a bit different due to different regional priorities. I'm not sure we'll up walking distance, or not much. An army with a general can already go pretty far in a turn, and it did take Hannibal the equivalent of 3-4 turns to get from New Carthage to the Alps.
