    Default Converting strings.bin to .txt

    Yes, I downloaded the tool, have Python, put both convert_all.bat and strings_bin_converter.py file in the same folder as the .strings.bin files, and even tried editing the .bat file to only convert event_strings.txt.strings and event_titles.txt.strings (the only two I need). Nothing works. I know it's pretty basic, but does anyone have any advice or those two files in .txt form they could share? Thanks.

    - Which python version do you have? Only up to 2.7 works with that tool.

    Yeah, I have 2.7. When that didn't work, I rolled back to 2.5 like it mentioned in the Readme, but that failed too. Never used 3.x.

    Gigantus, 2.7 is not compatible with M2 python scripts. Only upto version 2.6 works 100% sure(been the victim).

    @Rogal Dorn
    Installing a higher version sometimes messes up things. Do a clean uninstall using a registry cleaner tool and install python 2.6 x86(32-bit verion only) and try again.

    I did a quick uninstall of 2.7 earlier. I'll take your advice and see if it makes a difference.

    Edit: It dun worked like a charm! +Rep.
