Default QUestion about RR and the AI

I'm currently playing my first ever campaign using RR. I'm only using it because turning it off is bugged in 6.3, but I'm liking it so far. I do need to know something very important about it.

Is the AI bound to the same recruitment pool and training time limitations as the player when using RR? I ask this because I'm only on about turn 15 and I just smashed a Polish army outside of Konigsberg (TO campaign). It will take me a little bit to replenish my losses and go on the offensive. However, I can't go on the offensive if Poland will be able to replenish immediately and spam stack after stack at me (as it's always been before 6.3).

So if the AI is bound to the same RR rules as I am then I love it even more now. If not, then my next game session is going to be unfairly frustrating.

    Yes.

AI might start out with additional stacks but thats it.

    That is excellent news.

You know, I'm actually glad that the disable of RR is bugged or otherwise I might have never tried it. I really like it now. Consider me a convert.

    Thanks guys

yes the AI is bound to RR, however the campaign script might give them some spawning 'reinforcements'

Actually there isn't a mod in existance that gives a game where the ai is treated the same as the human player. If such a game were made the difficulty level would be laughable. RR has recruitment replenishment rates the same for player and AI, but there are other things, like income that are weighted towards the ai and free units in a garrison script. So the ai will always be able to recruit more than you under similar circumstances.

Which is due to the AI sadly not being as smart as the player. Though AIs that are as good as humans are pretty far off still.

certain citeria cause stack spawning for AI factions but other than that RR seems to prevent them from replenishing any faster than you if your economy is good, I have noticed because of the financial bonuses they get that they will build each unit as soon as it is available so alot of how many pro units they will create whilst you are replenishing is dependant on how many castles they have. Imagine you with no financial worries and that is the AI.

I am also a RR convert 6.3 was first time I tried it and am very impressed with the way it forces you to balance your armies realistically and the same for the AI.
