neha: given the number of submods that have been released for previous versions of SS, and given the number of submods that have already been released for 6.3 in the very short time it has been released, it would take a LOT of time to make them all compatible with each other. And what if some person wants some of them, but not others? And another person wants this one, but not this other one. There would be soooo many combinations that it would be impossible to release versions to suit everybody's tastes. Modders would never be able to do any modding to make new versions or patches because they'd spend all their time making compatibility versions.
SS6.3 has gone further than any other mod in submod compatibility by the inclusion of the launcher program (thank you Gracul!

). And Meneth's compendium is utilising this already to make several submods available and compatible with each other. However as time goes by and more submods and larger and more detailed submods for 6.3 are released, it will be harder to make these compatible with each other out of the box (so to speak). It's the nature of the beast unfortunately.
I'm sorry that you had a bad experience when installing a submod but it is up to the user to check for compatibility with the version of SS you are running and any other submods you are currently running. As a modder I cant read your mind as to what you have installed and plan for every eventuality. You need to check before installing or at least take backups. You, as the user of a mod (and submods) that are provided for no cost, have a responsibility as well.
