Is it possible to run SS and the Westeros mod at the same time?
I just DLed the Westeros TW addon and tried to install it but it doesn't seem to be working...when I run the batch file it quickly loads a DOS screen and then closes before I can read what it says...the Westeros FAQ says not to have any other mods installed and a vanilla Kingdoms but I am not sure if that really matters...has anyone ever run Westeros and SS at the same time?

SS6.3 should not conflict with other mods and any Westeros questions should be asked there.
Seeing as someone there said that he has third age installed and everything work this I'm inclined to assume the same for older versions.

Thanks, I saw that, someone else was having the instant crash problem but no one offered a solution there so I was wondering if anyone here had both going at once or if it is another issue.

Normally mods which have it own folder won't conflict with MED2 vanila and the other mods in the same kind (i.e SS and Third Age). However mods which install direct in MED2 vanila data can course the conflict and you can't have the other mod without problem

Check whether Westeros is mod foldered or not, if not then it will crap over SS and your other mods as well.

Re: Is it possible to run SS and the Westeros mod at the same time?
chech your UAC control... it might conflict the installation process... the easiest way to remedy this is to follow this easy steps (from Meneths Compendium):
The very easiest way is to just install SS 6.3 somewhere else, like in Downloads or it's very own folder on your C: drive, as then you don't need permissions.
The second easiest way, and the one which will prevent this from reoccurring in the future, is turning of UAC (User Account Control) (note: this only applies to Vista and 7):
Search for UAC in the control panel
Click on Change User Account Control settings
Drag the bar all the way to the bottom
Click OK
You should now be able to mod the game
The other solution (or if turning off UAC for some reason doesn't work), is giving you permission for the specific folder you're trying to put the mod in:
Find your M2:TW folder
Right click and click Properties
Uncheck "Read-only"
Go into the "Security" tab
Click on "Users" or "All Users"
Click Edit
Click the Allow check-box for Full Control
Click OK
Wait for it to apply to the whole folder (this can take a while)
Click on OK, then OK again (make sure it says Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files)
Wait for it to apply to everything in the folder
You should now be able to mod the game
this applies also to installers and such...
