Micronesia, Guyana, Moldavia, Mongolia, Guinea Bissau, Malta, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, San Marino, Gambia, Barbados, Antigua and Principe, Sierra Nevada, Gabón, Saint Kitts and Nevis, The Marshall Islands, The Central African Republic, Oman, Palau, Swaziland etc.

This feel rather pointless as a lot of nations don't recieve any media coverage.

Both Switzerland and Luxemburg are huge players on the financial market
Also, don't forget Liechtenstein, the pilar of one of the most fiscal lucrative deals in the world....

No country is useless to its neighbours or inhabitants. To most people of Vanuatu, the rest of the world isn't much to think about. They find great importance in their country through its natural resources and culture. Vanuatu is also important to its Pacific neighbours. Yet to the rest of the world its just some islands.

Exactly my thoughts, I just named some of the countries that never appear in the news. This thread is seemingly elitist as to mock other countries. If I could name the most useless country today as per action I would say the USA

I'd say they're quite important in world events. That s where influence spheres of USA, Russia and China meet and it could easily make the news at any time. I'd say central Asia is rather important region politically.
