Sunday Multiplayer ExRM

I've encountered a problem with ExRM multiplayer: after every game with my friends on LAN, the game claims we now have different verisons of the mod. Why on earth is this happening? I do unfortunately not have the time for such an event...

Didn't work. :S I deleted the one in the /ExRM/data/world/maps/campaign/barbarian_invasion, but it will simply not work. The error message makes no sense absolutely, insisting that our games are incompatible, even though there is no difference between our .exe or mod verison.

Just go into the menu for ExRM click multiplayer and then hit the change cd key button, it'll ask for your CD-key

(if you got the gold- edition its the green piece of paper, with 24 character on it, make sure to type it exactly, and no spaces, i think you use hyphens, if not it might be printed on the back of your manual)

unfortunately i lost my cd key and am waiting for sega to give me a new one.. but if i do get one Juan i'll pm you, give you my MSN and I'd be more than happy to to try my battle skills against you next Sunday.

no thats pretty much it, oh and one thing i suggest, don't watch some random online battle on youtube where people do commentaries, most of those battle are bad and most newbies who try to re-enact them get raped online by the more experienced players, so just a heads up in case your thinking about it

Nah, I prefer to formulate my own tactics anyway. That way I know who's responsible for the victory

There is no map.rwm in my /base folder...

This is 3.5.3b, I'll try patching to #c later. But the funny part is that we could play one battle, then it would claim our versions differ when hosting a new game. So weird.

Both of you have to delete the map.rwm after every battle. The reason you dont have one atm is that you deleted it.The map.rwm will regenerate every time you fight a battle/play the game etc.....

My msn is . -never put it down straight at a forum to prevent your adress from being harvested by bots for spam- and unfortunately I wasn't able to play this sunday. Next week I'll be on a small holiday in the alps (crossing from Switzerland into Italy actually, I'll be sure to plant a flag over a Roman corpse ) but even so if we delay this, we will not cancel it.
