Unfortunately, I lost my current game at about 60 settlements-ish and I don't want to start over before the new patch.
Basically, does anyone have a save game for the Romans in 0-turn, hard campaign very hard battles (or something close to that), reasonably well off before the second rebellion?

Oh and any .exe is alright (I have them all)

    Thanks in advance
Here you go dude, i have one army, blocking the dacians, already in place, and one army blocking the boli in the mountain passes, the rest of the armies are scrabbled all over the place in france, so that will need some sorting out, was sending cheap archers to take there place so i can move them to other frontlines, Rome is basically at war with everyone atm, just trying to get my economy back on track after previous constant waring all over the place, So had to pump alot of money into building legions

Its actually on VH for the Campaign, and Hard for Battle, using Alexander exe.

still a way to go before the 2nd rebellion, but quite a few turns in still, hope that helps

    yep its with 2.1a version

Well VH Campaign is meant to be buggy or not as hard as, Hard Campaign, but seems ok to me, its fine, just try it dude

just remember to activate the script, and when beseiging a settlement, that your army doesn't get attack by reinforcement otherwise sometimes causes a CTD upon winning/taking the city, and you should have a very smooth campaign

    Spartan Campaign 562 A.U.C
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

This is my current Spartan Campaign. It was slightly annoying in the beginning with the greeks constantly sending assassins to eliminate my faction leaders. Literally 4 turns in a row, my empire changed leaders due to assassination. By the time I finally kicked the greeks away from my lands, the assassinations had caused me to gain a leader who was hated by his troops, hated by the nobility, hated by the people and, to top it all off, was apparently disloyal. Luckily I managed to adopt Nikanor of Himera, who, after my terrible faction leader was tragically killed in a battle against overwhelming odds, became my presiding king. It is a shame that I couldn't keep the king as someone from the original ruling class, but oh well Now, after fighting off the rest of the greeks who remained, and personally killing King Phillip of Macedon in a battle, things seem to be looking up for Nikanor, as he is worshiped by his troops, and respected by the nobility. A far cry from my previous king.

Humble start of my Roman camp. :

Barbarian Hannibal have been defeated at Lake Trasimene. He tried to lure Gaius Flaminius Nepos into an ambush but failed and was masacered but with heavy casaulties on the Roman side. Folowing his incursion, Capua and Crotona rebeled and loyal governors had to retreat to friendly cities. It took more than 5 years to quel the rebellion and repopulate rebelious settelments.
Now the entire penniunsula had been pacified and Rome is on the offensive .
Question is - where to strike ?? Should i avenge Hannibals insult and crush Kart-Hadaszt ?? Or maybe i should take alittle trip into Macedonia ? ?

Gaius Flaminius Nepos - Hannibal's Bane , now securing the Siege of Genoa.

Siege itself - Quintus Fabius Maximus flushing out the remnants of Hannibals presence from the Italian Penninsula.

Gaius Terrentius Varro aiding Dyrrachium against relentless Macedonian attacks.

    1. If you go to your launcher and select preferences (the file is in the main RS2 folder), you can check off edit_settlement names so you can change the names of settlement that you own.

    2. One, I had no idea that there was a settlement there with that name in Roman Britain. Two, I just named it after it's conqueror, Dumnorix.

It's my first post on Total War Center forum so I say hi. But I'm with Total War games since begining. I must say I really enjoy this mod. Anyway I stopped playing it few months ago and now I'm going to start once again. Last time I ended Greek, Spartan and Carthage campaigns(both campaign and battles on VH) but I thought that I will show you my pride: Roman Campaign. So here it is, hope you enjoy:

This might sound silly, but I don't have a preferences.txt file neither in the main folder nor in the subfolder.

What did I wrong, how can I correct it? (The game runs anyway with no problems besides occasionally CTDs)

My small Spartan Kingdom. I have pushed the GCS out of Greece and failed to maintain an alliance with Macedonia. I don't want to go to conquer Macedonia because I'm sick of seeing Carthage killed off all the time so I am currently on my second campaign to reinforce them in their war with the Gallaeci.

My original 13 unit army led by the King of Sparta was utterly destroyed and now his heir has taken up the fight with similar sized force. So far roughly 25,000 enemy troops have been cut down . If I manage to push back the invaders I will give all of the territory back to Carthage.

    One-turn campaign.

Script can only deduct -40000 each turn. The economy can go to sometime 80000 profit.

You can if you make about 100000 a turn. The way the script works, if you go above it, It can deduct 40000 two times. which is more than most people tend to make hence the money cap.

I think they are more likely about to be Falaraci'ed! Interesting world map too with it looking like there are no juggernauts yet, but a few starting to get some momentum by the look of it.
