Looks to me like you've got it set on widescreen when you've not got a widescreen monitor - see the way everything is squashed to look narrower? Deselect widescreen in video options.

    What was your CTD issue?

Yup,you're right,I'll change the setting next time around. The CTD was the known fs_javalineer crash that: I solved it by installing the mod in a separate folder and copy-pasting it into the root diretory later.

TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

Cool pics evryone Afterall nothing less is expected from the best Roman mod of rtw

You guys made me want to post some of my latest Roman Campaign battles pics hehe Here are some pics i recently took during battle between Julius Caesar with his Legions and Insubres rebels in RS II. You will notice i made some edits to my likings on the shields, plumes, tunics and cloaks. I really love the equites and the consularis bg this way for the late republican period, since their previous design was better for during the punic wars etc, i'm not saying this way they'r more accurate or anything but i just prefere them so. I wanted to make my roman army to look similar to that of Julius Caesar during his Gallic war during the late Roman republic, for my up-coming battle vids, so i thought it better to deploy roman equites as his cavalry (although he had germanic/gallic barbarian cavalry too but i didn't include them in ths one) rather than the cavalry auxilia, i could be mistaken tho but i think the cavalry auxilia units are more imperial cavalry than late republic.

I've got one cool picture. At the end of the battle one Boii Champion got pictured in astonishing state of grace! (right bottom corner)

Invisible push! With such powerful technique romans would have conquered Mars and beyond. Sadly, hardly any spaceship was present at that time .

Nice army composition Zydrius. Leaves you flexible against any barbarian army or other most factions types for that matter.

Thanks! Actually what you see here is 4/5 strenght of a legion + some reinforcements (1 general + 3 antisegnani* units).

    *Appologies if written incorectly.

Here's picture from my struggles against Carthage. They gathered some stacks (I've counted 7 heading my way). By taking Nemausus I've opened a corridor to roman lands for them. Not a big suprise that soon afterwards they arranged exploration or family trip (8 family members in one stack):

Wow – I have never seen destroyed ballista on the battlefield. AI rained flaming arrows and ran into some luck flaring one of ballistas.

Parthian 1-turn campaign. Seleucids are real badasses. Not only they have shrinked the kingdom of Armenia, but they are also giving a hard time to Ptolemaics. Parthian Kingdom is on the defensive stance, repelling invasion stack after stack. Some recent victories gave some breath and replenished main Parthian army made invasion on their own into Seleucid's teritorry.

Expedition near the Rhagae (Media region) lead into an underpowered offensive battle 1 vs 2 stacks. Brave parthians, even when outnumbered 1:2,5, due to nearly endless volleys of arrows and roliing tanks-cataphracts achieved desicive victory.

But celebrations where short. Travelling merchants informed about another enemy stack closing into parthians positions. Desperate in situation and not fully recovered after previous battle parthians ralied a defence on a hilly terrain. Cavalry was deployed on a flat surface and archers took positions in the hill. „They will never reach us and we will give them a warm welcome“ – said parthian general.

Here's some pics of how pre-battle looked like:

Plan didn't go so well, because of game mechanics archers had a hard time shooting from above: some arrows were absorbed by the edge of the hill, so when enemy closed in, archers had to manouver to a lower ground.

Aftermath. Though parthians were expecting only to tear down enemy forces and then retreat back to the hills, massive seleucid forces were crushed and another victory was achieved!

Unfortunately, after this battle parthians were attacked by another small stack of Seleucids. Though I could have won easily, I was afraid of CTD if I might play this battle, so I used autoresolve and remainings of parthian army were crushed like bugs. The saddest part was that my hero general was killed .
