Default The Long Tale of my Macedonian Campaign [Updated Regularly] (56K Warning)

This will be a thread on my Macedonian campaign I have started and I will supply images and information on it. Discussion on the campaign is encouraged . (SIDENOTE - If you want to complain about the bad graphics blame imageshack for not letting me upload larger sized pictures [JPEG format is really low quality] meaning the quality was heavily reduced).

The Macedonian Ruler - Antigonos Gonatas.

Much is happening in the world. The tides of fortune are shifting. Soon it will be time for Macedonian rule. But... We must not be so hasty. Let the Greeks and the Romans wage their war, for ultimatly we shall reap the spoils of war. What we must focus on is fortifying our position and then when the Greeks least expect it seize Athens and Sparta from their grasp. When Athens and Sparta fall the Greeks are ours.

    Taxes heightened by the king.

Construction of the trader building begins in Philipp.

Massive Macedonian military organization begins under the banner of king Antigonos Gonatas himself.

    280 BC Winter

Arrianos' request is denied as the Macedonian royal family are not impressed by his complete lack of managing skills and influence. He had minimal skills as a commander but the family saw this as making him more susceptible to an early death on the front lines.

    Marriage proposal

Wealth countinues to pour into Macedonian coffers (a record 5389 gold pieces recorded in the treasury).

King Antigonos Gonatas' army advanced into the region Athens (Greek terrotory) and attacked a small Greek patrol near the border led by captain Pheidippides. The Greek patrol fled the region setting up camp outside the Macedonian city of Corinth.

King Antigonos Gonatas' army countinues on and lays siege to the Greek city of Athens and it's stone walls. Contruction of siege weapons is immediatly undertaken.

    Siege of Athens

Brigand force led by Abantes of Lissus spotted in the region of Pella, troops ready themselves for an attack.

Construction of wooden walls begins in Thessalonica, Bylazora and Larissa. Roads begin construction in the Macedonian capital Pella.

Brigand force led by Abantes of Lissus siege the Macedonian capital Pella.

Captain Tinconmious of the Odrysian rebels leads an Odrysian force to siege Bylazora.

Pirate and Greek fleets (Working side by side for now) led by admiral Polydoros (Greeks) and admiral Cyaxares (Pirates) blockade Thessalonica's port.

Cool story, well done. I suggest replacing Antigonos with Damasos. The latter is young and talented, you can easily make him a 7/10-star general let Antigonos govern Pella (so you can put the taxes on very high without revolt, thus giving you more profit), not before defeating that rebel captain.

    Holy maccarony, gravedigging

RTR 6.0 by the looks of it, and thus un-supported. If you are looking for a version to play, ExRM would be what you are looking for.
