Thread: toning down acts of war

    Can any of you modders please give me a few pointers. I am trying to tone down random acts of war when I am not their neighbour and I have decent relations. I play on very hard and the AI will have an invade priority of 300 alone for me. So far I have tried this.

    I thought 700 was going to be way too high but still being attacked a few turns in from random factions.

    From random factions that are NOT your neighbors?
    alhoon is not a member of the infamous Hoons: a (fictional) nazi-sympathizer KKK clan. Of course, no Hoon would openly admit affiliation to the uninitiated.

    Correct. I think I got it. I tried this instead because I wasn't getting any results with what I had originally.

    Hello!
    Thanks for your code. I am using a modification of yours, but I don't know if it could work
    I want to remove the acts of war for everyone if you have good faction standings.
    What do you think?

    If you want to remove it completely then I would say your better of using invade = "invade_none" instead of giving it a IP.

    I'm not very experienced with descr_campaign_ai_db.xml, but the documentation for this file in Custom Campaign Mod 2 seems to indicate that Allied is considered to be less than Neutral, which is in turn considered to be less than AtWar. If that is true, your min and max criteria will always be false.
