    Default cyclic redundancy error

I recently tried re-installing my Gold edition RTW then i started getting a cyclic redundancy error. i tried completely deleting all traces of it before the installation but it didn't help. Any suggestions as to what i can do?

(sorry if this is the wrong place to post it its my first time using this forum)

The best advice is clean the discs and check for scratches, dirt, fingerprints, etc.

crc = cyclic redundancy check of which mean the laser cannot read the disc.

First of all welcome to the forum.

The easiest way to get the disc to be read is as irishron has suggested. The only alternative is to try and install it using a different CD/DVD drive.
