Exactly, your losses are nothing compared to mine.
In a custom battle as Byzantines, I tested if pure Contaratoi, Toxotae and Acontartoi garrison can stand against a Turkish assaulting force. I won the battle. I chase them down. There was the last unit running away. I ordered my whole garrison to chase that last unit down. I supposed they will come out through the gates. Instead they go up the walls and climb down from the ladders for the damn pathfinding's sake. There was 8 units on the walls climbing down from 4 ladders. Each unit has 130 men roughly ( playing on HUGE unit size), they push against each other and many fell from the walls while the others from the ladders itself!! I didn't noticed it until I heard screams. When I checked that out I found that disaster. I lost 400 men for just chasing 30 men.!!

Man, that must be epic Not trying to make fun of you ofcourse but I just imagine the scene, hundreds of men pushing each other down the ladders and walls just to chase down One-Last-Turk! Wish you took some screens though..

should of used cavalry to chase them down an infantry chase is never pretty especially from a walled city.

Wow, I never knew that Novgorod has access to a 'Lemming Unit'.

That is what I loved about RTW, is when they fell of the walls, it was so funny to watch

this is a bug that existed in vanilla... sometimes it seems as if the ladders gets "stuck", as in not being on a valid piece of the wall and therefore not usable... the next moment they work again though...

I have no idea what triggers this, but I have seen this in many mods and also in both vanilla and Kingdoms...
