You most likely have an overheating issue - that description sounds textbook.Originally Posted by troy7

Is the laptop warm to the touch? With a desktop I'd advise you to download a heat monitoring program but that's not likely to work on a laptop.
You are probably going to have to cut your gaming sessions into smaller chunks - play a few turns and then back out to Desktop. Let the laptop cool down and then try again.
