    Default (Important) Trick to play XGM in high quality - For Crappy Computer or Laptop

    Okay for the sake of XGM beautiful screenshot and gameplay, this trick will make sure you will have the nicest XGM with 1440x900x32 resolution

    To do this

    @1st go to "Control Panel">>>"Folder Options">>>"View">>>check "Show Hidden Files"

    @2nd go to "Computer">>>"Local Disk C">>>"Users">>>"Name of Your account on the PC">>>"AppData">>>"Local">>>"VirtualStore">>>"Program Files">>>"Activision">>>"Rome Total War">>>"xgm">>>"preferences">>>"preferences.txt"

    ***If you get the older version of window (the upper part is for win Vista and win 7) you can follow this direction: "C:" >>> "Program Files">>>"Activision">>>"Rome Total War">>>"xgm">>>"preferences">>>"preferences.txt"

    @3rd copy this sucker and paste it "over" the original data

    STRATEGY_RESOLUTION:1440x900
    STRATEGY_MAX_RESOLUTION:1440x900
    STRATEGY_32_BIT:TRUE
    BATTLE_RESOLUTION:1440x900
    BATTLE_MAX_RESOLUTION:1440x900

    MORE IMPORTANT: If you consider yourself a completely newbie in computer, please copy this file I attached with this post in your "xgm">>>"preferences" folder and over-write the original file

    So from now on I dont want 2 see any crappy screenshot no more. Take care I hope this guide help you alot

    Is it also possible to do this for 1920x1080 resolutions?
    In the campaign map building and soldier cards get pixelated.

    yes it is possible, just fix the resolution in the preferences.txt
