So basically what I'm doing is turning Sicily into a new faction. I changed the name, colors, banners and stuff all without a problem. Then I decided to start adding some units from other factions. I backed up the necessary files and took a crack at adding Retinue Longbowmen to Sicily. When I got a crash when clicking "Early Era Campaign" (Using SS6.3) I thought, "Hmmm, I'll just put the backups back in and start fresh in the morning."
So I put back the original files, only to find I got an error at the same place! Can anyone help me by looking at my system.log? I really have no idea what could have gone wrong since I put back the original files that I was modding...

Lets see if we can fix the first error first, I like those wordplays.

You have an extra space after the last highlighted }, remove it and fire the game up, if that doesn't fix it theres something else wrong that I cannot see.
D: That doesn't seem like a good option, I modded A LOT. I'll only do that as a last resort. Can someone upload a SS6.3 clean version for me to look at, or show me where to get one?
Ugh, I've gotten completely clean files for all of them and it still happens... No idea what happened here :/
EDIT: I think I may have found something. I was opening GeoMod to see if I could find any clues as to what was going on in there, and upon loading I get this error:
Fatal Error!
The region 'Bordeaux_Province' is not associated with any entry in the data\text\imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt.strings.bin file!
The program will exit now.
Does anyone know what this means/how to fix it?

Check the imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt to see if it is in there.
If so, delete the string.bin and let it generate a new one.
If not, match the file with the descr_regions.txt and descr_strat.txt.
Dude, I frickin love you right now! Thanks sooo much! I can finally start modding again Now I'm terrified of trying to add units again, but I gotta give it a shot! Thanks again +rep
Crap, no I crash on starting campaign lol
Now it says the same error except with the new region I created... 0.o So I looked in the file and my new region is not there for sure. How do I match it with the other files? I dont know what that means D:

I have not done a complete install. When loading Geomod, I get this error:
Fatal Error!
The region 'Shamrock' is not associated with any entry in the data\text\imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt.strings.bin file!
When making a new region.
Make sure it exists inside the descr_regions.txt and the RGB value also matches the region in the map_regions.tga file.
After that make sure you have inserted the new regions name inside the imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt file and it helps if thats arranged in alphabetical order inside the file.
Chocolate, if I were going to make the names accurate, I'd have to dig out the old atlas. There are sites that deal in maps and some are 10th century and older. You Google for them and I bet they show up with a little perseverence.
If accuracy does not count,
{Aberdeen_Province}Aberdeen Region for your red
{Shamrock_Province}Ireland for your ?.
