    Default stupid game breaking BAI

    Hey folks,

    im using savageai and i got this problem:

    Problem BAI

    1. Me and enemy line clash together, there General is always the first to attack
    2. After 2 Minutes "We slashed the enemy general"
    3. 10 seconds later all enemy units retreating.
    4. After 4-5 Minutes total victory.

    Wasnt that stupid Suiciding general problem fixed in an earlier version? How do you enjoy such battles? Can i avoid that problem with another ai?

    SavageAI (and all the AI options included in 6.3) are campaign AIs, not Battle AIs. So this has nothing to do with SavageAI or your choice in AI.

    Have you got your advisor turned off?

    Hey man, thanks for your reply.

    You mean in the options?My Game advice level there is "none".

    Why?

    The battle AI requires the advisor to be turned off for it to work. Just checking.

    Ok...but i cant be the only one with the suicide general problem?!? Anyone else?

    Not here. 6.3 with no sub mods. AI leaves the general at the back and when I flank the general, the bodyguards would charge back.

    I also havent installed any submod. How is it possible? AI gen always attack

    Yes, i have been posting in G5's post about the General sucide problem, i also think the general is charging too much and dies very quickly especially in sieges. In field battles, the general always be the first unit charging into the player's line; and in sieges, the general charges immediately into the gates when gate is breached.

    But how is it possible that the other guy is saying his general is not commiting suicide?

    Actually the AI General suicide problem only occurs when the AI is on the attacking team in field battles and siege battles.

    Did not encounter such a problem with the general with exception of the cavalry...they rush of and attack without infanty support...but that's normal i guess?

    Try custom battle, set yourself as defending team, then you will experience the AI general suicide attack. Actually the AI treat the general as normal heavy cavalry.

    The first seige i played of 6.3 the ai got stuck by the settlement gate. Has any ai ever fixed that or is it permanently broken?
