Well tbh we dont really have anything to work with at this point, a few screenies and a very short video.

And the fact that there are WAY more mods for Rome and MTW2 for one reason or another. Not to mention that the new versions of Stainles steel and TATW were just released....the numbers don't surprise.

I'm pretty sure those numbers will rise once CA releases the various trailers detailing the Grand Campaign, Campaign Battle, Multiplayer, etc. of Shogun 2.

Indeed....this is just an attempt to continue the post Empire total war bashing that I'm sick of.

RTW and MTW2 have more mods because they had mod tools released right? But...we'll see after STW2..a lot of the fans will be pissed if there's no RTW2 in...say 2 years?

Erm your half right, the modders made more tools for rtw and m2 CA only gave us a handfull of not so usefull tools for M2 (excluding the unpacker that was very usefull). Empire will eventually get these self made tools I have no doubt but the game is still limited, ie the map can't be edited. And there will be no tools for S2 so modding it will be nigh impossible (it will be in binary so we would have to have tools to work with it). But I think you will find more fans will be upset at the heartbreak of a unmodable RTW2 rather than not having it, at least on this forum.

There's very little to be seen on the Shogun board right now.
A few debates and a lot of raving ranters that hi-jack almost every thread.

Ummmmm, what is the aim of this thread?

At the end of the day, the majority of the people on these forums are modders or mod users. So therefore, the more mods there are, the more viewers there will be.

The series is far from it's fall - Empire was the most popular game sales-wise to date, so I really don't see what you're saying... =/
According to this poll, 80%* of TGW fans agree that "The mod team is devilishly handsome" *as of 12/10 (its true )

Means nothing, this forum is primarily for modding, and it is tiny does not accuratley reflect the trends of the customer.
ETW was the best selling TW game sales in the first month 850,000 excluding steam sales active membership of this forum just over 7000.

so I fail to see your point, more people are lookng at the modding sections of a tiny primarily modding based forum, and.....
That is to be expected, it means nothing.

    Moved to General TW Discussion.

Besides a lot of members live in different time zones. Just because you caught 7 viewing doesn't mean that's always the case.
