    Default Medieval II mod ideas

    Fellow fans of Total War!

    I am more than sure that all of you are very fond of twcenter's modding community, rewarding us with fan creations definetly better than brand new, commercial products.

    Secondly, I am just as certain that each of you had once an interesting mod idea. Some of you may have succeed at modding.

    Myself, I wish one day to create a mod on my own (as soon as I learn to use photoshop and milkshape and get some free time) and I had some nice ideas which I think you'd like to see finished.

    But it's not about that.

    I want you to share your ideas. Here's example:


    Name of the modif you have it already)
    Total conversion?: (Y/N)
    Historical or Fantasy?:
    It's 3 greatest advantages:
    It's biggest disadvantagef.e. requires big team/unpopular setting etc.)
    General mod idea: (setting, background story, gameplay or so)
    Concept arts: (if you have any drawings)
    Do you plan to start modding?: (Y/N)

    This will hopefully reduce the number of idea threads posted by people with no modding ability, which tend to clutter up this section of the forums, no offence but in all my time of modding very VERY few of those 'i have an idea but cant mod' thingys ever take off....

    Good idea but can I reccomend reformating the questions? (I put in my own answers btw)

    Have you completed any other m2tw mods before? Yes.
    Are you currently developing a new mod? Yes.
    (If yes above) What is the name of the mod? Undecided.
    (If no above) When do you plan to start developing a mod? -
    Are you part of a team? No.
    Are you looking for a team? No.
    Is your mod already based on another mod? No.
    Is your mod going to be a total transformation? No.
    Is your mod historical, fantasy or other? Historical and other.
    How much do you plan to mod from the original game files? Less then 10%.
    How much have you modded already, if any? 30% out of the total 100% goal mark.
    What are your goals in this mod? (list .......)
    What is the current focus of your mod? Strat map models/campaign map.
    Do you have any resources for your mod to work from? Yes.
    Do you have all the necessary tools to developer your mod? Yes.
